Vibrant Hues at Manik Public School: ‘Rangoli Sandhya’ Celebrates Traditional Art
To revive cultural heritage in today’s screen-dominated world, Manik Public School hosted its inter-house cultural event, ‘Rangoli Sandhya’, welcoming participating schools from across the region.
Students transformed the campus into a vibrant canvas of colors, flowers, and traditional motifs, blending classical folklore with modern themes like environmental conservation. As dusk fell, the intricate artworks were illuminated with earthen diyas, highlighting the value of tactile, mindful art over digital distractions.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony celebrating regional talent, unity, and the enduring beauty of traditional Indian floor art.
Celebration of 80th Independence Day-2026
The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotic fervor and grandeur across the Manik Public School campus on August 15, 2026. The program commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the tricolor, followed by a crisp and disciplined march past where the NCC cadet contingent marched in precise synchronization alongside contingents from all school houses, accompanied by the rousing beats of the school brass band. The atmosphere turned deeply emotional and vibrant during the cultural segment, featuring an impactful historical drama that brought the sacrifices of freedom fighters to life, alongside an insightful student skit underscoring modern civic responsibility and national unity. The celebration reached its peak with a soul-stirring choral rendition of Vande Mataram, filling the entire assembly ground with national pride and leaving students, staff, and guests inspired.
