The Manik Public School offers a CBSE curriculum that balances knowledge and skill development with creativity and critical thinking. Primary to Senior School Programs:

    • Primary Years: Nurturing a love for learning with foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and emotional intelligence.

Course of Study/Curriculum

The curriculum aligns with the new CBSE and National Curriculum Framework (NCF) regulations, focusing on experiential learning and skill development.

Language & Literacy

  • Three-Language Formula: R1, R2, and R3 are compulsory for Classes 6 and 9, requiring at least two native Indian languages.

  • Multilingual Lab: Trains students in English, Hindi, and Kannada to build fluency and cross-cultural communication.

Core Academics

  • Mathematics: Built on a “spiral learning” approach focusing on logical reasoning and algorithmic problem-solving.

  • Science: Integrates physics, chemistry, and biology into an inquiry-driven framework.

  • Social Science: Combines traditional subjects into a unified study of society and the Indian Knowledge System (IKS).

Advanced & Specialized Academics

  • Advanced Mathematics: Higher-order logic and advanced problem-solving for Classes 8, 9, and 10.

    • Kaushal Vikas: Competency-based vocational training for secondary school (Classes 9–10).

  • Physical Education:

    • Khel Yatra: Movement and physical literacy for middle school (Classes 6–8).

Senior Secondary Stage (Classes 11–12)

Restructured into a flexible, multidisciplinary format. Students select subject groups based on their goals, combining core tracks like PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or Biology with optional subjects like Computer Science and Physical Education.

 

Assessment Shift

Grading frameworks transition away from rote memorization to focus entirely on competency-based questions that test practical understanding and real-world application.
